Let's talk about my 5 ideas to improve class sizes immediately!
Hello Ward D! I would be honoured to represent you as your Edmonton Public School Trustee.
I am a long time Ward D resident and mom of 3, with a background in business management, music education, and public education advocacy. Our schools are under a lot of stress as class sizes continue to grow without a proportional increase in funding. EPSB is approximately 5 years behind on infrastructure, over $1.4 Billion behind in maintenance, and teachers do not have the support they need.
I am stepping forward to run for Trustee because I have the depth and skillset to really help during this challenging time. My approach is to set a vision and get to work. I will use strategy and data to advocate to our provincial government for much needed funding and for changes to discriminatory legislation. I am ready to put forward actionable ideas and creative solutions that bring us better classroom conditions immediately. My four pillars are:
